48" x 79"
Ideal for midsize trucks similar to the Toyota Tacoma, Ford Ranger, Ford Maverick, Chevrolet Colorado, GMC Canyon, Nissan Frontier, Honda Ridgeline, and Jeep Gladiator.
48" x 89"
This size is for full-size trucks similar to the Ford F-150, Toyota Tundra, and Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The 48" X 89" stands out by eliminating the need for a platform. Just slide it on, lock it down, and hit the road. The 48x89 is compatible with any full-size truck.
58" X 79"
Ideal for customers who have a 6'6" (tailgate off or down) or 6'9" inch bed (tailgate shut) who are looking to keep the camper compact within their bed without overhanging. This is important if you plan to place your Freedom Camper in your truck bed while hauling a boat or trailer. This Model requires a raised platform to elevate the camper above your truck's wheel wells.
58" x 89"
The 58" X 89" is our biggest seller and gives you a little extra length- perfect for taller campers or those who want more room to stretch out and store gear. The 89" length makes it optimal to run on all full-size truck beds and 5'x8' trailers and larger. This model requires a raised platform to elevate the camper above your truck's wheel wells.
Do you need the Truck Mounting Kit?
The Truck Mounting Kit is required if using a truck bed to carry your Freedom Camper. It is optional if using with a trailer.
The truck mounting kit uses four turnbuckles to allow you to quickly and securely attach your camper to the outside rails on your truck bed or attachment points in your trailer. If selected, this kit will be shipped inside your camper. The Truck Mounting Kit includes: x8 side mount plates, x4 d-rings, x12 hardward, x4 turnbuckles, as well as an instruction manual.
How many people are required to load and unload the camper?
Due to its ultralight build (180-190 pounds), it requires only two people to load, unload, and store.
Is the Freedom Camper customizable?
The Freedom Camper is intentionally designed as a minimalist basecamp, ready for you to outfit however you like. Whether you want to mount awnings, solar panels, roof racks, or ventilation fans, the Freedom Camper makes it easy to create a setup that fits your lifestyle.
On the roof, you’ll find two raised composite wood areas—ideal mounting points for racks, awnings, or solar equipment. For fan installation, simply follow the manufacturer’s instructions as you would with any other camper.
